Bridging Loss-of-Lock in InSAR Time Series of Distributed Scatterers
In this work, we discuss a type of signal loss/decorrelation encountered in InSAR time series analysis which we call “loss-of-lock”, and show how it has significant implications for the use of InSAR in monitoring dynamically changing regions. We show how this otherwise irreparable loss of coherence in InSAR time series’ can be overcome by informing the processing algorithm with contextual data of the region of interest.
