Deep Learning Based Rehabilitation Monitoring and Assessment System for Cervical Spondylosis

Cervical spondylosis (CS), a degenerative condition  of neck vertebrae and discs, causes neck pain and stiffness. Elderly and neck injury patients get it often. In this research, Deep  Learning—OpenCV based posture estimation methods have  been proposed to monitor cervical spondylosis based on pre-de?fined exercise patterns. Based on deviations from the patterns,  an automatic assessment report generation system has been implemented. This method assists therapists to monitor and assess rehabilitation.
