Mitigating Nonlinear Distortions of High-Powered LEDs for VLC using Deep Neural Networks
In this paper, we present a hardware implementation of a Deep Neural Network (DNN) based receiver for Visible Light Communication (VVLC) application. The presented system can combat the effects such as non-linear behavior, attenuation at higher frequencies, ambient noise, and property differences observed in high-power Commercial-off-the-shelf Light Emitting Diodes (LED).
