Micro-grids are decentralized energy systems that can operate independently or in coordination with the main power grid. Their ability to integrate renewable energy sources that optimize energy management makes them a sustainable and resilient solution. The research objectives are to understand the micro-grid community and advance innovate these energy systems. The two most important problems are complexity and cybersecurity.
