The Topological Structure of Microwave Circuit Theory

There is a rise of interest within the applied physics and engineering electromagnetics community in exploring the topological structure of various systems and devices. This paper provides an outline for a new approach to microwave circuit theory via Lie theory emphasizing the deep topological structure of transmission lines and is expected to shed light on related issues like nano-EM and MTMs.
