The number of steps for representative real-world, unsupervised walking data using a shoe-worn inertial sensor
preprint
posted on 2022-09-20, 19:34 authored by Jesse CharltonJesse Charlton, Calvin Kuo, Michael HuntStudy estimated the number of real-world, unsupervised steps that need to be recorded before various gait-related outcomes show consistency (i.e., adding additional data would not change the outcome distribution). The data were collected over 1-week of walking by healthy adults and adults with symptomatic knee osteoarthritis using a shoe-embedded inertial sensor.
