Dr. Li Yang received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Western University, London, Canada, in 2022, his MASc. degree in Engineering from the University of Guelph, Guelph, Canada, in 2018, and his B.E. degree in Computer Science from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2016. Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Associate and Sessional Instructor at the rank of Assistant Professor at Western University. He is the vice chair of the IEEE Computer Society, London Section, Canada. His publications have received more than 1,400 Google Scholar citations and 2,000 GitHub stars. His research interests include cybersecurity, machine learning, AutoML, deep learning, network data analytics, 5G/6G networks, Internet of Things (IoT), anomaly detection, online learning, concept drift, and time series data analytics.
