Mohammed Abegaz

Postdoctoral researcher (Communication, Networking and Broadcast Technologies)


Abegaz Mohammed Seid received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from Ambo University and Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, in 2010 and 2015, respectively. He received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2021. He is currently a post-doctoral fellow with the College of Science and Engineering at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Doha, Qatar. He served as a graduate assistant and lecturer, as well as a member of the academic committee and an associate registrar, at Dilla University, Ethiopia, from 2010 to 2016. Dr. Abegaz has published more than fourteen scientific conference and journal papers. His research interests include wireless networks; mobile edge computing; blockchain; machine learning; vehicular networks; IoT, machine learning, UAV networks; IoT, and 5G/6G wireless networks. He is a member of IEEE.
