Pragnan Chakravorty received his B.E. degree in electronics engineering from Nagpur University, India; his M.Tech. degree in Radio-Frequency and Microwave Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India; and his Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India. He did a Post Doctoral Research in CNRS-Lab-STICC, UBO, France. He also served as a full Professor in an Engineering College of Mumbai, India. He began his career as a lecturer in the year 2001. He is the Founder and Principal Director of CARET ( His research interests include Semiconductor device modeling for RF-IC applications, mm-wave devices for beyond 5G communications and defense equipments, antenna arrays for pattern synthesis and signal processing, phased array radars, design of passive and active microwave circuits over different circuit board technologies, computational intelligence and so on.
