Shekh M. M. Islam (Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2012 and 2014, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Honolulu, HI, USA, with a focus on biomedical applications incorporating RF/Microwave technologies. From 2014 to 2016, he worked as a Lecturer with the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, University of Dhaka. His research interests include radar systems, antenna array signal processing, adaptive filter technique, and machine learning classifiers for pattern recognition. In Summer 2019, he also worked as a Radar System and Applications Engineering Intern with ON Semiconductor, Phoenix, AZ, USA. Mr. Islam is also an Active Student Member of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technique (MTT) and the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology (EMBS) Society.
