Tuy Nguyen

Tuy Nguyen is an Assistant Professor at the School of Informatics, Computing, and Cyber Systems, Northern Arizona University. Prior to his current position, he was a Lecturer at the School of Global Convergence Studies and a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Inha University, South Korea. He also worked as a Senior Research Engineer at Conextt Inc., South Korea from August 2019 to April 2021. His research focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing digital systems, post-quantum cryptography, homomorphic encryption, and error correction codes in both software and hardware. He has developed highly secure fingerprint authentication systems using ring-LWE cryptography, post-quantum cryptography-based video encryption systems, and hardware designs for cryptoprocessors and error correction codes. He received the First Prize in Haedong Best Paper Award from the Journal of Semiconductor Technology and Science in 2020, the Outstanding Research
