Tuy Nguyen is an Assistant Professor at the School of Informatics, Computing, and Cyber Systems, Northern Arizona University. Prior to his current position, he was a Lecturer at the School of Global Convergence Studies and a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Inha University, South Korea. He also worked as a Senior Research Engineer at Conextt Inc., South Korea from August 2019 to April 2021. His research focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing digital systems, post-quantum cryptography, homomorphic encryption, and error correction codes in both software and hardware. He has developed highly secure fingerprint authentication systems using ring-LWE cryptography, post-quantum cryptography-based video encryption systems, and hardware designs for cryptoprocessors and error correction codes.
