Abstract

In electronics, microwave and RF engineering, the impedance matching is the practice of designing the input impedance of an electrical load or the output impedance of its corresponding signal source to maximize the power transfer or minimize signal reflection from the load. In many cases, the given load needs to be impedance-matched to a transmission line of given characteristic impedance. Usually, it is 50 Ω. In this approach we will work with the different characteristic impendence.
